SIDNEY CIC HOME OWNERSHIP PROGRAM – NEW!
In 2025 the Community Improvement Corporation of Sidney launched a new homeownership pilot program, with the first home built in the fall of 2025 on Broadway Ave. in Sidney.
The CIC built a new 1,289 s.f. 3-bedroom, 2-bath home and made it available to an area family at a reduced cost.
The CIC recently applied for grant funding that would allow the CIC to build one additional home in 2026 and one in 2027.

HOUSING
Housing in Sidney-Shelby County is expanding. In fact, more than 750 new housing units are currently in the works. They include the following:
- Anna: Timber Trails Phase 2 – 30 lots
- Botkins: Woodland Sub. – 3 lots (25 new lots in ’24)
- Fort Loramie: New subdivision – 26 new lots
