SIDNEY CIC HOME OWNERSHIP PROGRAM – NEW!
The Sidney CIC is launching a pilot program to encourage home ownership and neighborhood revitalization. The CIC is constructing a new 3 bedroom, 2 bath home on 732 Broadway Ave, Sidney. The home will be offered for sale at a reduced cost, due to the generous grant sponsorship of CenterPoint Energy Foundation, Cargill Corporation, Sidney-Shelby Economic Partnership, United Way and The Community Foundation of Shelby County.
Those interested in purchasing this affordable home should review and complete the information packet below. The CIC will continue to accept applications until the home has been purchased.
Preference will be given to individuals or families in a target income range. A family of one can earn up to $53,200 and up to $76,000 for a family of four. See the program application for a complete income table.
Buyers must secure financing from a bank or mortgage company. Interested buyers must begin the process of securing private financing when they submit their Home Ownership Program Application.
